  • Any changes of registration information, such as participant names, swap of leagues, etc. are strictly NOT allowed once the registration is closed.

Registration of RoboCupJunior Challenges (Singapore MOE Schools)

The teams of this category are eligible for the RoboCup World Championship 2017, Nagoya, Japan, 27 – 31 July 2017.

Eligibility

  • Students over age 19 are not allowed on RoboCupJunior teams.
  • Primary age group: Teams with all student members age 14 and below.
  • Secondary age group: Teams with any student member over age 14.
  • Declaration day is the 1st of July 2017.

Team

  • The RoboCup Singapore Open embraces teamwork and collaboration among team members. A team should have more than one member.
  • A team member cannot register 2 or more leagues.
  • As the RoboCup Singapore Open 2017 serves as the national qualifier/selection for the RoboCupJunior segment of RoboCup 2017, you may wish to send the following documents to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
    • (a)Team track record in past robotics events.
    • (b)Team description, such as hardware and software used
    • (c)Robots' photos (if available)

Registration Fee

  1. The registration fee for faculty members from Singapore MOE schools are fully subsidised by the organiser.
  2. The registration fee or student members from Singapore MOE schools are 75% subsidised by the organiser for early registration.
  3. Late and Onsite registration is only for teams to add new members. New team registration is not allowed during this period. No goodie bag for late/onsite registered member.
  4. CoSpace Dance team will be registered under the RCJ OnStage sub-league.

The fees indicated is after subsidy.

Important Message to teams participating in RoboCup 2017, Nagoya, Japan

  • Team members have to be at least 11 years of age (as of July 1st). This means each competitor was born before or exactly on July 1st 2006.
  • Primary Category: Teams with all student members age 14 and below.
  • Secondary age group: Teams with any student member over age 14.
  • For all sub-leagues, team size is between 2 and 5 team members.

 

 

Registration of CoSpace Challenges (Singapore MOE Schools)

This sub-league is only for teams first time to participate in the CoSpace Challenge.

Eligibility

  • Students studying in primary schools, secondary schools or junior colleges.
  • Primary age group: Teams from primary schools.
  • Secondary age group: Teams from secondary schools or junior colleges.

Team

  • This category is for students having experience in basic robot programming and want to extend their knowledge, improving coding skills and moving towards RoboCupJunior competition. Team should have no experience in Grand Prix competition and CoSpace Rescue.
  • The RoboCup Singapore Open embraces teamwork and collaboration among team members. A team should have more than one member.
  • A team member cannot register 2 or more leagues.

Registration of CoSpace Logistics (Demonstration) Challenges

This is a new demonstration sub-league introduced to the RoboCup Singapore Open 2017.

Eligibility

  • Students studying in primary schools, secondary schools, junior colleagues, polytechnics or universities
  • Primary age group: Teams with all student members age 14 and below
  • Secondary age group: Teams with any student member over age 14
  • Open category: Teams with any student member studying in polytechnics or universities.
  • Age declaration day: 1 July 2017

Team

  • This category is for students having experience in basic robot programming and want to improve on AI strategy design and planning.
  • The RoboCup Singapore Open embraces teamwork and collaboration among team members. A team should have more than one member.
  • A team member cannot register 2 or more leagues.

Registration of RMA Challenge (Singapore MOE Schools)

This sub-league is only for teams without any robotics experience.

Eligibility

  • Students studying in primary schools, secondary schools or junior colleges.
  • Primary age group: Teams from primary schools.
  • Secondary age group: Teams from secondary schools or junior colleges.
  • All students must have not attended the Make Code Challenge in any other workshops or events

Team

  • The RoboCup Singapore Open embraces teamwork and collaboration among team members. A team should have more than one member.
  • A team member cannot register 2 or more leagues.

  • 2.Each team consists of 2 – 4 student members
  • 3.The team registration fee include 1 Robot set and team registration fee for max of 4 students.
