About RoboCup-SG

The RoboCup Singapore National Committee was formed in 2005. It aims to promote the RoboCup initiative in Singapore through organizing local events and putting in contact groups of research in Singapore that share the interest in RoboCup. The RoboCup Singapore National Committee was formally registered as "RoboCup (Singapore) Association" (RoboCup-SG) in 2008 with registration reference number: 2117/2008. The main objective of ROBOCUP-SG is to promote robotics science and technology in Singapore. It is our intentions to use RoboCup as a vehicle to promote robotics and Artificial Intelligent (AI) research, by offering publicly appealing, but formidable challenge through competition, training courses, workshops, symposia, seminars, congresses, conferences, cooperation, exhibitions and other science and technology related activities. The objectives shall be the dissemination of knowledge of the theory, practice and applications of all aspects of robotics, including mechanical and electrical engineering, computing, AI, electronics, radio, design, allied branches of engineering or the related arts and sciences.

The RoboCup-SG will be essential to the regional and global technical community and technical professionals everywhere, and be regionally and internationally recognized for the contribution of technology, education and service in robotics and intelligent systems.
